I listen to the words and think of all the things that can cause people to compromise.
The song I speak of is called "Slow Fade" by Casting Crowns. The chorus makes me think every time I hear the song. RoseAnn what are you giving yourself away (compromising) to? Does it (giving yourself away) take your eyes off the Lord? Or does it (giving yourself to) put them squarely upon Him?
Do you have things in your life that you give yourself away (compromise) to? Think truthfully or better yet, ask the Lord to reveal the choices you are making that turn you away from Him every so slowly? I know that answer for myself and do pray for Jesus to help me put those things away.
